Great company, incredible battery system for our solar panels, really more than we expected. Very responsive, I email and it is answered very quicky. Would use again.

We had simple power solar do our panels a few years ago. We were not living in town and they met us on the rare times we were in town, kept us informed, dealt with renters schedules…. And we are enjoying very low energy bills! We are extremely pleased.

These guys do things the right way. Would recommend to anyone in the Reno / Tahoe area. Worth the premium price.

When my system stopped producing power i was not sure who to call. Solar City was the original installers then it switched to Tesla. Was unable to navigate thru their website to find a solution and talking to a live person appeared not to be an option.I picked Simple Power Solar based on their location to my former employer. They were helpful right after the first call, gave me the information needed to resolve my system, so we moved forward.There was a time element from diagnosis to repair but that was out of their hands. Upon the eta date for the replacement inverter arriving, it appeared the original supplier was unable to provide them with the product, so Krystal started to follow up for finding a solution after a few days a solution was found, and my system is back up and performing as designed.Thanks for your customer service!Doug

Simple Solar did a great job installing panels on our home in North Lake Tahoe. The process was easy and transparent. It took a while to get everything completed due to delays on the utility company side, but the Simple Solar folks were very responsive and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend them.

SimpleSolar was easy to work with. While they may not be the cheapest option, the install is very clean and dressed nicely - not something I can say for my previous home solar install using a different installer.

Although it took a while to get them installed, we were happy with the service and the professionalism of the installers and the office personnel. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. We've had solar panels on our roof for several years and decided that it was time for a battery backup if the grid went down. Simple Power did a great job. First there are required permit from the city and electric company, which Simple Power handles. Then the installation of equipment and inspections, and finally the software setup so you have monitoring capacity on your smart phone. They are all very knowledgeable. The last employee who set up the software and monitoring, Sean, was spectacular.

After installing solar panels and enduring a 4-day power outage from NV Energy, I decided that the most valuable investment was a battery to store the solar power so I could use it during another outage. Not too long ago we had an outage, and the battery switched over seamlessly. I’m very pleased.

My 8 year old inverter is broken and I've been having a hard time getting it replaced. Krystal at Simple Power Solar Service Department has been my rock. She has helped me in contacting my original installer (I thought they were out of business) and helped me navigate all the pitfalls of multiple company contracts (my installer - not Simple Power - bought the hardware from another solar company who purchased it from the original manufacturer, and they have been squabbling for the last 2 months about who's warranty is responsible for the replacement cost...)Well, finally, things are beginning to move and I hope to have an install date soon. Simple Power Solar installed a solar and battery backup system for us. The entire process was very smooth and they took care of all the design, permits, HOA approvals, etc.The system was designed to meet the snow load requirements. Throughout the process we received timely updates and the system was installed on time. They were easy to reach anytime we had questions. Overall they were very professional and I highly recommend them!

I purchased a solar system from a national firm. This company was contracted by my original supplier to resolve start up issues and the did. Once they received the contract for the work they kept me informed. The Service rep Jon was well seasoned in this work. He was timely, polite and communicate exceptionally well. Because of Him I have now made Simple Power Solar my local agent and will be using them if as non warranty items arrive.

I wanted to write to give a great review for Simple Power Solar. They did our solar panels in 2019, which have been flawless and performing even a bit better than anticipated. And then they were able to find us a Tesla Powerwall, which are hard to find, and get it installed this spring. We love having the battery backup, and they made the process very smooth. We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for solar and battery backup in the area.

Professional service and quality work. Matt, Cody, and Sean installed a Span smart panel, a Span Drive EV charger, and a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery into my home as upgrades to my existing solar array. They answered all of my questions, kept me up to date with the process, and cleaned up when they were done.I highly recommend Simple Power Solar and will be calling them again for any additional work.

It is difficult for me to determine where to start with the job Simple Power Solar (SPS) did for us as it was so complex. So I will start with that- complexity.We had a massive solar system installed on our house, I mean really big. The array was spread across multiple angles of the roof, not a flat surface, not a contiguous surface, but many small peaks and angular surfaces spread across a 2,000 sq. foot roof. They designed the best location for the tiles, we get maximum sun and the system cranks out kilowatts.In addition the the huge solar array, we had to install a new electrical panel, which included upgrading our power line drop from NV Energy, extensive electrical runs not only for the solar but new outside power outlets, a 50 amp run from the outside ground level panel up 2 stories into the attic and diagonal across the whole attic over into the garage to drop an EV charging outlet. This was extremely complex and difficult, and I don't know how but they did an absolutely perfect job. We couldn't be more impressed and happy.Additionally SPS installed a second interior electrical panel, a Smart Panel which permits us to monitor and manage all energy usage in the house in conjunction with the solar system and the Tesla Power Walls, which they also installed.All this equipment and requisite electrical conduits was installed perfectly, with well organized runs, excellent equipment placement such that I really enjoy looking at it since it is so well organized and just looks cool. 100% solid work, nothing to complain about.Overall this was incredibly difficult job requiring multiple different high-tech equipment components to be tied together, with extended electrical runs up 2 story walls, inside walls, outside on brick walls. The work was perfect, and I mean perfect.SPS's crew is incredibly talented, very polite and considerate, they showed up for work on time and finished the job on time with zero complaints or mistakes.Honestly I don't know how they did this job as well as they did. I enthusiastically encourage anyone to consider SPS for your solar system requirements or other related projects/services they offer.I could go on, but I will wrap it up here. Pictures of the system are included.

Panel cleaning service was timely, courteous, and thorough. I saw immediate increase in daily electricity generated from our home panels.

Everyone that worked on our install was phenomenal. They were attentive to our needs, quick to respond to questions, accommodating with change requests, and kept us informed every step of the way. Everyone was friendly and helpful (and great to our dogs who oversaw their work : ). Couldn't be happier!
